The first few feet were fun
Days off, we could still get out.
Shoveling out together and for others still hibernating
A great bonding and giving experience.
Walking to a neighbor’s for the Superbowl
Sharing the joy of Peyton Manning losing
Getting to enjoy some down time
With people to whom we usually only give a friendly passing wave
Swimming at the pool with other on campus families
Seeing students, parents, and others stocking up at the grocery store
A big, fun potluck at the headmaster’s house
With generations and fun conversations
But now,
Blizzard
Blowing snow drifts
Bummer.
