The Fantastic Mr. Fox
On Wednesday, April 4, opera-singing mice, a cunning fox, and other animals
entertained parents and lower school students during Kate
Hailstone’s second grade class’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s
book, The Fantastic Mr. Fox. As two farmers try to protect
their chickens, the fox and his family dig below ground to
find food, eventually outsmarting the farmers. Students made
all the masks and scenery for the play and helped write the
script.
