Rock Shop Receives Thanks From Kenya
In the winter, Middle School Rock Shop and the Leadership
Club held their annual Well, Well, Well concert to benefit
Kenya Connect, a non-profit organization that provides wells,
water, supplies, and facilities for rural schools in Kenya.
The students held an auction during the concert in which
their peers bid on items donated by teachers and parents.
Part of the $2,200 the middle schoolers raised went toward
school supplies at a local public school, and the rest
renovated the infrastructure at Itunduni P.S. in Kenya. The
students at Itunduni sent a video thanking the Middle School for its hard work
and support.
