Sad News for the McDonogh Community
We are saddened to share the news that Alec Cosgarea, a member
of the Class of 2013, died tragically in a car accident
Monday, July 9. We extend our heartfelt sympathy to his family
including his brothers, Will '14 and Drew '11. Alec was a
joyful young man, who spent countless hours swimming for
McDonogh and the North Baltimore Aquatic Club. In the
classroom his teachers called him, "a quiet leader, with a
strong sense of character."
The school’s administration has been in contact with the
Cosgarea family and the family has expressed gratitude to
their McDonogh family for the outpouring of support.
