Philip Olsen to Give Organ Recital
Philip A. Olsen, Director of Upper School Vocal Music, will give a free organ recital Sunday, November 17 at 3:30 p.m. at the Second Presbyterian Church in Baltimore.
Featuring works by Bach, Buxtehude, Franck, Langlais, and Persichetti, the concert will be the culmination of many months of careful selection and preparation. Although best known for his expertise as a conductor and teacher of choral music, Olsen holds a degree in organ performance and looks forward to performing for the community. A reception will follow the concert, and all are welcome.
