Students Named to All-State Music Ensembles
The prestigious Maryland Music Educators Association announced in December, the selection of 10 McDonogh Upper School students to participate in the All-State Music Honor Ensembles. Congratulations to:
Senior Mixed Honor Choir: Aanya Korgaonkar '26 (soprano), Zoe Reicher '26 (soprano); Maya Rodriguez '26 (alto), Milie Singh '26 (alto), Stanley Kabenge '26 (tenor), and Nathan Eldridge '26 (tenor).
Senior Treble Honor Choir: Hannah Berkowitz '26 (alto), Ashley Ince '25 (alto), and Niara Sherrod '26 (alto).
Senior Symphonic Band: Nathan Huang '26 (trumpet)
Upper School Choral Director Scott Barton who shared the announcement noted, “Their exceptional musical abilities have earned them this incredible opportunity to showcase their talents among the best musicians in the state. This achievement not only reflects their hard work and commitment but also speaks volumes about the exceptional music program we have at our school.”
The Maryland Music Educators Association Concerts will take place in spring 2024.
