Whether it’s a third grade student in a nook with a book, a sixth grader attending a book talk about a great new novel, or a sophomore discovering digital resources, students find a warm welcome in the libraries. Directed by caring, knowledgeable, and trained professionals who understand the needs of students and the range of resources available to them, our libraries help all learners.
In addition to the traditional resources that have always distinguished McDonogh’s libraries, each division offers print and digital resources. Our librarians provide access and support that help students develop critical judgment and intuitive thinking skills to identify and utilize any resource responsibly and ethically. McDonogh librarians help students become astute thinkers and problem-solvers across subject areas and for personal pursuits.
To align with curriculum and reading levels, McDonogh maintains one library for each of its three divisions: Lower School Leah Watts Dawson Library, Middle School Rosenstein Library, and Upper School Kiplinger Library.
