In November 2021, Lynne and Victor Brick established the Vicki ‘99 and Jon ‘04 Brick Scholarship in honor of their children to express gratitude to the McDonogh teachers and coaches who made an impact on their lives.
What inspired you to make your generous Legacy Campaign gift to create the Vicki ‘99 and Jon ‘04 Brick Scholarship?
We are so thankful for the positive effect McDonogh has had on our lives and the lives of our children, and we wanted to give back so other families might be able to receive the same benefits. We feel so blessed to have had the McDonogh experience, and we wanted to pass it on.
What impact do you hope your gift will have on McDonogh students?
We hope our gift will in some small way contribute to McDonogh being able to continue to shape the lives of young men and women and help create the kind of leaders the world so desperately needs. As we all know, young people are the future of the world.
