A Thanksgiving Feast
Dressed in handmade costumes as Native Americans, the kindergartners sat down together at one long table to share a traditional Thanksgiving feast on November 20. Their teachers, in costume as Pilgrims, served them. The kindergarten banquet table extended from Mrs. Ward's classroom into Mrs. Dudley's classroom with all 48 children seated around it. In the end, a gobbling good time was had by all! This has been a tradition since 1992, when McDonogh opened its kindergarten.
