Another IAAM Championship for Girls' Swim Team
The girls' swim team claimed the 2005 Independent Athletic Association of Maryland swimming championship yesterday, finishing more than 100 points ahead of second place Mt. de Sales. Competing at the UMBC's Retriever Aquatic Center, all 14 McDonogh swimmers scored points for the team. McD swimmers finished first in every event. This was the third straight for the Eagles, who won the IAAM title outright last year and shared it with NDP the year before. Click here to read about the championship in The Baltimore Sun.
