Author of "Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads" Comes to Campus
Don't miss the opportunity to learn from Rosalind Wiseman, internationally recognized author of "Queen Bees & Wannabes," on Wednesday, April 11 at 7 p.m. in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre.
Young people aren't the only ones who experience bullying, cliques, and social isolation. The hidden world of social competition among parents impacts the well-being of their children and their children's ability to succeed.
Drawing from her latest book, "Queen Bee Moms and Kingpin Dads," "Wiseman will give parents concrete strategies to improve their relationships with other adults in their children's lives, whether it be other parents, coaches, or teachers.
"Queen Bee Moms & Kingpin Dads" will be available for $15 during a book signing after the presentation. The book can be purchased in advance for $10 by contacting Natasha Wesker (nwesker@comcast.net) or Stephanie Ahern (spahern@comcast.net).
This event, sponsored by the McDonogh Wellness and Parent Education Committee, is free and all are welcome.
