Change in Schedule for Parents Book Club
The Parents Book Club is back, and all are welcome to the following discussions in Bowman House from 8:45 to 10 a.m. Born to Buy will now be discussed at the first meeting, not in May as originally announced.
- March 3, 2006 - Born to Buy by Juliet Schor. If you missed Schor’s talk back in November, here’s an opportunity to examine how today’s consumer culture affects children.
- May 5, 2006 - Uncommon Sense for Parents with Teenagers by Mike Riera. The author, a family consultant, is also coming to McDonogh on April 10 for conversations with students, teachers, and parents.
