Cross Country Wins First-Ever Championship, Spirit Week Continues
The purpose of the week is to celebrate the fall athletic season, which ends with the traditional McDonogh-Gilman football rivalry on Saturday, November 10. Students earn the privilege of dressing for Spirit Week by contributing to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund.
The fall season continues for the boys' soccer team, which reached the MIAA A Conference finals by defeating Calvert Hall, 3-1, on November 8. The girls' field hockey team had an exceptional season but did not make it past St. Paul's School for Girls in the IAAM A Conference semifinals, also on November 8.
