Hear the Bells Ring
Carillonneurs from the United States and abroad will present recitals on McDonogh 48-bell carillon Friday evenings at 7 p.m. from July 5 through August 2. The hour-long recitals are free to the public and are held rain or shine at Tagart Memorial Chapel. Bring a picnic supper, a lawn chair or blanket, or listen from your parked car. Seating is also available in the chapel in case of rain. McDonogh has one of only two carillons in Maryland; the other is located in Frederick’s Baker Park. This is the school’s 24th annual carillon concert series.
