Honors and Recognition at Headmaster's Day
Thoughtful tributes were offered to retiring teachers Marty McKibbin and Tom Harper and admissions secretary Shirley Sterner. Faculty members Mona Barr, Diana Harley, Kathleen Corcoran, and Cheryl Seal were also honored for twenty-five years of service.
Legacy editor Britannie S. dedicated next year’s yearbook to Mrs. Pat White, college counseling secretary, calling her one the most compassionate and accommodating people on campus.
The ceremony also included performances by the Upper School's concert choir and concert and jazz bands, the Middle School's Eighth Notes, the Lower School's choir, and saxophonist Isaac Parham, father of a senior.
Nearly 50 student awards were given to upper schoolers, recognizing academic and artistic achievement, citizenship, leadership, and character.
