Lloyd Thacker on College Admissions: Calming the Frenzy
During the past 20 years, college admissions has changed dramatically--at the expense of the students. Lloyd Thacker should know. He spent 28 years in the college admission and counseling professions. Since he left his job in 2004, he has dedicated himself to reforming the college admissions process.
Thacker, editor of "College Unranked" and executive director of The Education Conservancy (www.educationconservancy.org), is one of the most well-respected voices in college admissions today.
