Vocal Music Residency Performance
The entire community is invited to attend the First Annual McDonogh Vocal Arts Residency Performance this Friday, November 9, at 7:00 p.m. in the Ceres M. Horn Theatre. The concert is the culmination of a week-long Upper School musical immersion program led by master teacher Barbara Dever, a world-renowned mezzo-soprano.
Founded by the family of Jamie Balter Levine ’11, the residency celebrates the arts program that allowed Jamie, and students like her, to cultivate a lifelong passion for vocal music. It introduces students to the artistry and craft of professional vocal music through master classes, seminars, and individual coaching.
Friday evening's performance will feature Dever and participating students. Admission is free, and the event is open to the public.
