Camp Red Feather is an exciting summer experience for our youngest children. Based in the Prekindergarten, Kindergarten, and Lower School buildings, this program promises to give the camper a full day of fun and new camping experiences.

This program is designed with developmentally appropriate activities and classes for your camper. Arts and crafts, nature and science, story time, daily swimming, cooking, sports, games, and much more will round out a truly wonderful summer experience in the sun.

Staffed by teachers and mature, caring young adults, Camp Red Feather has a camper-counselor ratio of 5 to 1 to ensure each camper receives individual attention. Groups are traditionally coed and created with the intention of keeping campers with similar aged campers. For example, a newly turned four-year-old camper would not be placed with a group of Red Feather five-year-olds. Every attempt will be made to place a camper with at least one of their friend requests.

This camp is eligible for our Early Bird and Sibling Discounts.

Summer days come alive with good friends in a variety of games, sports, and other fun-filled activities in our most popular traditional day camp program. Camp Red Eagle has been in operation for more than 80 years and is one of the most respected day camps in the area. This structured program is specifically designed to develop individual skills and increase general knowledge.

The campers will experience a wide variety of organized activities and classes, including daily swimming, arts and crafts, music, cooking, nature and science, sports, games, and much more.  Campers are grouped according to age; six-year-olds will be with other six-year-olds, seven-year-olds with other seven-year-olds, and eight-year-olds with other eight-year-olds. Every effort is made to closely monitor each camper’s activities and growth to ensure an enjoyable camp experience. Senior Camp is designed for the experienced camper who wants to continue to enjoy all the fun of a traditional day camp with the added excitement of new, age-appropriate activities. Daily activities will include swimming, sports, outdoor games, talent shows, art design, cooking, and computer graphic design to name a few.

All Senior campers will be grouped by age. For example, a nine-year-old camper would be placed in a Senior Camp group with other nine-year-olds and not in an older Senior Camp group of eleven- or twelve-year-olds. Every attempt will be made to place a camper with at least one of their friend requests.

The experienced staff encourages campers to approach each activity with equal enthusiasm and interest, even if that activity is somewhat unfamiliar. New outdoor activities including laser tag, and our state-of-the-art rock wall will be introduced to all campers. Field trips will return for the 2025 camp; activities such as bowling, skating, or visiting a state park are potential destinations.

Research shows that the modern-day athlete benefits from participating in a variety of sports. Each day, All-Sports campers engage in a rotating schedule of sports with other kids their age. These sports include soccer, basketball, baseball, flag football, floor hockey, volleyball, disc golf, and more. The camp also includes daily swimming. The highlight of each week is our Color War in which campers compete in exciting team events.

Former and current college athletes teach game fundamentals, encourage friendly competition, and reinforce the value of spirit and sportsmanship. Field trips will return for the 2025 camp; activities such as bowling, a baseball game, or skating are potential trips.
