Patrons Lecture Series Tonight: Charlie Miller
Charlie Miller would say that it takes one to know one. Alcohol overuse claimed his adolescence and now, in a different way, defines his adult career. For the past 12 years, Miller has conducted substance-abuse prevention seminars for independent school students and their parents.
"The problem in this country is that children are beginning to use drugs and alcohol at such young ages," Miller has said. When he speaks in Tagart Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 3, at 7:30 p.m., Miller will share strategies for reaching kids before they seek drugs and alcohol for social comfort.
