What's Thanksgiving without the Headmaster's Pancakes?

They came home from colleges and universities all over the country, from as far away as Stanford and Texas Tech. More than 200 alumni from the Classes of 2002 to 2005 even got up early to enjoy the camaraderie at the annual Thanksgiving Breakfast in Lamborn Hall. Classmates rushed to greet friends as they walked in the door, often with hugs.

An enthusiastic group of ’02 classmates, now college seniors, resumed their friendships as though no time had passed since they were McDonogh students. June 2005 graduates, meanwhile, came back in droves to enjoy their first reunion at school. The classes of 2003 and 2004 were well represented too, as were current seniors.

Back in the kitchen, Headmaster Bo Dixon flipped the pancakes and history teacher John Wood manned the serving line. Class dean Bill Seal stopped by, as did teachers Dan McGuire and Patricia Tasher.
