Wrestlers Win Another MIAA Crown
The #1-ranked McDonogh Eagles won the Maryland Independent School Athletic Association A Conference wrestling crown last Friday night, defeating Mt. St. Joseph, 34-24, in a dual meet.
The wrestlers have gone undefeated in league meets for the second straight season and have won two successive MIAA crowns.
The team showed its collective strength throughout the season, as different wrestlers stepped up, sometimes unexpectedly, to clinch wins.
